Gazi Anadolu Lisesi is a state school located in the Black Sea region, offering a weekly schedule of 40 hours. The curriculum emphasizes natural and social sciences, as well as foreign languages, with English and German being taught. The school has 52 teachers and 726 students, aged 13 to 18. Many of our students face fewer opportunities and come from low-income backgrounds. Our mission is to educate students to be well-equipped in their fields, open-minded, aware of universal values, and capable of learning through understanding rather than memorization. We focus on helping them use information effectively, express themselves clearly, and approach the world with creativity and optimism. In addition to academics, we prioritize sports, science, and social activities to support personal growth and the development of soft skills.
With the participation in this project we aim to
- create an inclusive school climate;
- enhance academic success;
- educate students as peaceful individuals who embrace universal values;
- respect human rights, and develop strong social skills;
- organize social and scientific activities and encourage student participation.
We carried out several EU projects covering themes such as deforestation, human rights values, mitigating human impacts on climate change, recycling, upcycling, and entrepreneurship. As an eTwinning School, we have received numerous European quality labels. Our participation at this project can contribute to the improvement of human capital at both national and international levels.
