BGéSZC Öveges József Secondary Technical Grammar and Vocational School has technical VET training, remedial education and adult training.
We have got 62 teachers and VET trainers for about 775 students.
Our main activities include:
Technical Secondary Vocational Education: We provide students with a variety of technical skills (including electrical, mechanical, and environmental technologies) that meet European standards and align with labor market demands. We emphasize lifelong learning, maintaining strong connections between education and the labor market, and offering comprehensive training and career guidance.
Remedial Education: We offer special education programs for students experiencing learning difficulties, such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia, with a significant portion of our students coming from socially disadvantaged backgrounds.
Adult Education: We provide vocational education and skill development for adults.
With the participation in this project we aim to
1.) exchange best strategies and practice to improve teachers’ and students’ skills related to sustainability;
2.) give students a vision of the European dimension
3.) develop students’ participation in international projects;
4.) improve teachers’ sustainability discipline;
5.) promote the 7 R’s of sustainability among our students;
6.) enrich the cultural and social values
We have prior experience in European projects and are committed to working diligently. The challenges posed by the COVID-19 crisis have highlighted the importance of combining physical learning environments with digital solutions and virtual teaching platforms.
Our expertise in the use of ICT in the classroom, along with our experience in teaching environmental special topics, issues, and programming, brings added value to the project. In addition, EU programs and international cooperation play an important role. We have qualified professionals who are capable of collaborating on such a challenging project.
